SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used to treat external genital endometriosis with severe pain. The severity of pain and the chronobiological type of the patient are determined using the visual analogue scale (VAS) using the Horn-Ostberg test modified by prof. S.I. Stepanova. If pain of 6-8 points according to VAS is detected and a moderately morning or moderately evening chronobiological type is determined, the patient is given complex therapy, including surgical and hormonal treatment, as well as an additional intake of melatonin at a daily dose of 6 mg.

EFFECT: method provides an increase in the effectiveness of treatment and suppression of pain by taking into account the chronobiological type of patients and the additional intake of melatonin.
