SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used in the treatment of moderate periodontitis in patients after a coronavirus infection. The treatment includes two stages: the first stage includes three-stage professional hygiene under conditions of application and infiltration anesthesia, isolation of the oral cavity, treatment of the surface of the teeth, with cleaning of soft plaque with a sandblaster, removal of supra- and subgingival dental deposits with an ultrasonic tip and polishing of the surface of the teeth with a brush and fluoridation paste. During the second stage, photosensitizing therapy is carried out for 20 minutes with the application of Revixan dental gel-photosensitizer on a kappa, and gel activation with light radiation at a wavelength of 660 nm, radiation intensity from 5 to 11 mW/cm². Then it is prescribed to carry out independent daily evening photodynamic procedures for 10 minutes using a mouthguard and Revixan rinse and oral care, taking into account its characteristics. The course of treatment is repeated after 3, 6, 12 weeks after the first dose.

EFFECT: method allows, due to photosensitizing therapy, providing a bactericidal fungicidal effect, as well as acceleration of capillary blood flow, to effectively, safely and affordably improve the periodontal health of patients in an outpatient dental clinic.
