FIELD: handling liquids.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to transportation of liquids. Antifriction additive for lowering the resistance of hydrocarbon liquids flowing through a pipeline comprises a temporary container enclosing the internal cavity containing polyolefin and a deactivated polymerisation catalyst in a shell. The temporary container comprises a container material including an ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene and vinyl alcohol copolymer, polyvinylpyrrolidone, an ethylene and vinylpyrrolidone copolymer, a vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl acetate copolymer, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, a polysaccharide or a derivative thereof, or a combination containing at least two of the materials listed above. The largest size of the temporary container is above 1,000 mcm. Polyolefin is contained in an amount of 80 to 99.99% wt. as calculated for the total mass of the antifriction additive.

EFFECT: lower resistance of liquids flowing through the pipeline, reduced energy required for the transportation of such liquids, higher throughput capacity of the pipelines, simplified production, storage, and transportation of antifriction additives.
