FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to reduction in hydraulic resistance of hydrocarbon fluids flowing in a pipeline. An antifriction composition for reduction in hydraulic resistance of hydrocarbon fluids flowing in a channel contains at least one sealed temporary container; at least one antifriction additive and up to 20 wt.% of dispersing fluid, located in the sealed temporary container, wherein the weight percentage is presented in terms of the total weight of the antifriction composition, including the weight of the sealed temporary container. The antifriction additive contains polyolefin particles having a particle size from 10 to 2000 microns. Dispersing fluid contains water, alcohol, hydrocarbon, or a combination thereof. The temporary container contains container material, which includes polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene and propylene copolymer, polystyrene, polylactic acid, polyamide, polyester, polystyrene, ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene and vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer, vinyl pyrrolidone and vinyl acetate copolymer, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene oxide, polyethylene glycol, polyvinylidene chloride, polysaccharide or its derivative, or a combination thereof.

EFFECT: reduction in energy necessary for transportation of hydrocarbon fluids and increase in a throughput capacity of pipelines due to a high concentration of polyalphaolefins in antifriction additives, ease of obtainment and transportation of antifriction additives, long-term storage of antifriction additives with a wide range of storage temperatures.
