FIELD: environmental protection.

SUBSTANCE: The group of inventions relates to the environmental protection. The invention discloses a method for the selection of solid suspended particles for environmental studies, including the suction of water with a suspended substance using a pump and a hose immersed to a certain depth of the study into a storage sampler, which is a vertically arranged pipe, the lower part of which is hermetically connected to a container for collecting suspended particles, in the upper part of the structure, excess water and the introduction of a rod with a filter into its space to control the accumulation of suspended material in the container in its lower part and the possibility of compacting the substance by crushing to the bottom, at the stage of sample extraction, disconnecting the container with the suspended material, followed by hermetically sealing the open upper opening with a plug with an O-ring and further use for transportation and storage of samples. An apparatus for implementing this method is also disclosed.

EFFECT: The present group of inventions enables to increase the speed of sampling the required volume of suspended particles by enriching the sediment in the device and reliably organize the process of sampling and transporting samples.
