FIELD: parachute technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to parachute technology, in particular to cruciform parachutes. The parachute comprises a cruciform dome with short blades made of fabric with low or no air permeability and straps attached to the blades and the central part to form a box-like structure. In this case, the length of the blades increases towards their edges.
EFFECT: ensuring a minimum difference in length of the lines attached to the blades, which makes it possible to reduce the likelihood of the lines overlapping the canopy and thereby increase the reliability of the parachute.
