FIELD: parachutes.
SUBSTANCE: square cargo parachute comprises square dome and slings secured along canopy edge. Dome is sewed from cloths of fabric of different width, with low air permeability and with surface density from 35 g/m2 to 40 g/m2. On the inner side of the canopy in the longitudinal seams of the canopy, in its edges, across the canopy and in the corners of the canopy reinforcement tape is sewn, forming a frame of rectangular and square cloths. Around the center of the dome at the intersections of the reinforcing tapes additional 4÷16 lines. To the parachute edge and to the seam closest to it on the parachute canopy, reinforced with the reinforcing tape, to places of intersection of seams with tapes and in corners of parachute canopy short supporting slings are sewn, having length making 88÷92 % of the length of the tape with the seam under them, and parallel to this tape with a seam, to keep the dome edge from being turned out when the main sling is weakened, and to ensure stability and stability of the parachute drop. In the corners of the canopy, the reinforcing band and the short supporting slings that duplicate it are sewn to the canopy in the direction from the edge to the canopy center.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the air resistance coefficient, increasing the speed and degree of stability of opening, improving resistance to pendulum swinging and reducing the parachute height.
