FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: parachute is cross-shaped in plan view with square central part. Lower parts of side blades are expanded. Width of lower blade edge is equal to width of blade in place of connection with central part. Shroud lines are secured on blades before lower part and are made with branches secured to lower edge of blades. Lower edges of blades are made with stiffening ribs in form of communicating pipes. Parachute is supplied with adjustable gas-developing device.
EFFECT: improvement of parachute aerodynamic drag.
