FIELD: parachute technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to parachute technology. The parachute comprises a cruciform canopy with short blades made of fabric with low or no air permeability, straps attached to the blades and the central part to form a box-like structure. A corrugation device is installed on the lines - a slider made of fabric with low or zero air permeability, the area of which is from 1 to 3% of the area of the parachute dome. A hole is made in the center of the slider.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing aerodynamic loads on a parachute while maintaining a high aerodynamic drag of an inflated parachute.
