FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a method for measuring nasal breathing in infants with unilateral cleft lip before and after cheilorhinoseptoplasty using a thermovisiograph, in which the thermovisiograph is mounted on a tripod above a medical couch. When shooting, the patient's head and body are held by hands, a rectangular frame is created for the possibility of further analysis of the temperature field dynamics, images are processed in order to obtain information about the temperature dynamics in the nasal cavities during breathing. The video is storyboarded and then a block matching algorithm is used to stabilize the image. In each frame image, the area of the image that most closely matches the original selection block on the first video frame is searched. The standard deviation function
is used, where k=0, 1, 2… is frame number; is temperature of the pixel (n, m) in the frame with the coordinate (n0, m0) of the frame k, to evaluate the coincidence of the images. As a reference line for calculating the temperature profile, a segment passing through the center of both nasal cavities is set.
EFFECT: creation of algorithm for the use of thermal imaging as a method for studying the function of external respiration in infants with unilateral cleft lip before and after primary cheilorhinoseptoplasty.
