FIELD: automatic welding machines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an automatic welding machine for longitudinal finning of pipes and can be applied in various branches of power engineering. The welding machine contains pressure units arranged symmetrically around the circumference with pushing pneumatic cylinders, a compression drive and contact welding rollers pressing and supplying welding current, a die positioning the ribs in relation to the pipe and pressure units, with windows for the passage of rollers and a mechanism for positioning the die. Each clamping unit has a mechanism for adjusting the position of the longitudinal axis of the compression drive of the contact welding roller and a mechanism for regulating the contact welding roller. The mechanism for adjusting the position of the longitudinal axis of the compression drive of the contact welding roller consists of a compression drive guide, two eccentric regulators, a compression drive housing, a ball joint, an adjusting lock nut, a fixing screw and two bronze dies. The control mechanism of the contact welding roller consists of a right and left sleeve, a right and left nut, a right and left cheek, mounting screws and a bolt. The die contains a mechanism for positioning the rear part of the die relative to the axis of the contact welding roller. The mentioned mechanism contains a die body, a die body centralizer, a radial rack, an axial rack, a turnbuckle, a turnbuckle centralizer, a contact welding roller, a plate. The number of clamping units corresponds to eight simultaneously welded ribs.

EFFECT: improved quality of welded longitudinally finned pipes, including small diameter, with tightly spaced "narrow" trough-shaped ribs and increase the heat exchange characteristics of heat exchange equipment by welding an eight-rib structure.
