FIELD: fuels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assessment of operational properties of diesel fuels. An installation for assessment of propensity of diesel fuels to formation of depositions on nozzle parts contains tank (1) for tested fuel, sequentially installed along a flow fuel filter (3) of fine purification, high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) (4) with servo drive (5) and nozzle (6) at an input to measuring cylinder (7) with fuel level sensor (8), sequentially installed along a flow. The installation contains tank (12) for reference fuel, connected to a fuel pipeline in parallel to tank (1) for tested fuel, via shut-off valve (13), density sensors (14, 15) of tested and reference fuels, pressure drop sensor (16) on fuel filter (3) of fine purification. Shut-off valve (17) is installed after fuel filter (3) in front of a point of connection to a suction section of the fuel pipeline. Program unit (9) is connected to the mentioned sensors, time relay (11), to servo drive (5) and recorder (18) of a value of an effective passage section of nozzle (6).
EFFECT: provision of high accuracy and reduction in labor costs for determination of an effective passage section of a nozzle.
