FIELD: diesel fuel.

SUBSTANCE: assessing the performance properties of diesel fuels in laboratory installations using automated control systems, used when testing fuel equipment of internal combustion engines. The installation for assessing the tendency of diesel fuels to form deposits on the injecting nozzle and the high-pressure fuel line contains a tank 1 for the test fuel and a tank 2 for control fuels, connected in parallel to the suction line of the high-pressure fuel pump 5, the pressure line of which is connected to the injector 6 located at the inlet into measuring cylinder 7 with fuel level sensor 8. The software block 9 is connected by corresponding outputs to the servo drive 14 and the recorder 15 of the fuel volume value. The inputs of the software block 9 are connected to the pressure sensor 10 in the pressure line, the fuel level sensor 8 in the measuring cylinder 7, the differential pressure sensor 11 installed on the fine fuel filter 12, the time relay 13 and the shaft speed sensor 16 of the high-pressure fuel pump 5. The reduction gear 17 is installed at the inlet of the high-pressure fuel pump 5 and is connected to the servo drive 14. At the inlet of the injector 6 there is a three-way valve 18, to which a quick-release connection 19 is connected to the control section 20 of the high-pressure fuel line, the output of which is connected to the cavity of the measuring cylinder 7.

EFFECT: expansion of the installation functionality without reducing the requirements for the accuracy of the results obtained by creating conditions for a constant rotation speed of the high-pressure fuel pump shaft.
