SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to medical equipment. The hand brake mechanism for regulating the speed of movement of the interventional equipment includes: a body, inside which is defined the installation cavity; a speed control button pivotally attached to the side wall of the housing; a drive part located inside the installation cavity, hinged to the speed control button and containing a fixing base, a connecting rod and a connecting plate. The locking base is attached to the inside of the speed control button. The connecting plate is connected to one end of the rack. The two ends of the connecting rod are provided with hinged shafts rotatable in different directions and pivotally mounted in the hinge holes on the fixing base and on the connecting plate, respectively. The toothed rack is pivotally attached to the drive part and is slidable along the inner wall of the mounting cavity in the horizontal direction after receiving the pressing force transmitted by the speed control button. The encoder is fixed on the first mounting plate in the mounting cavity. The toothed rack is configured to drive a gear located at the top of the encoder to change the code value of the encoder. The return piece has an elastic end that is located inside the speed control button. The other side of the return part is fixed on the inner wall of the mounting cavity and is configured to reset the speed control button. Disclosed is a method for adjusting the speed of a handbrake to control the speed of movement of interventional equipment.
EFFECT: providing the ability to change the speed of the intervention equipment at any time in accordance with the requirements of the application.
