Abstract RU 2785531 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to a method for personalising the therapy of an ulcerous defect in diabetic foot syndrome. Method for personalising therapy of an ulcerative defect in diabetic foot syndrome, in wounds with adequate and comparable magistral blood flow based on the morphological phenotype, consists in conducting a morphological assessment of tissues on serial paraffin sections of the wound biopsy material after staining with hematoxylin and eosin and determining the relative area of necrosis, fibrosis and granulation as a percentage, followed by calculating the repair index based on a certain empirical formula; if the repair index is less than 1, adjuvant therapy is considered inappropriate, and surgical treatment of the wound is recommended.

EFFECT: possibility of personalising the therapeutic measures in the event of chronic ulcerous defects in diabetic foot syndrome based on the morphological characteristics of the ulcerous defect.
