SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of wood particle boards. Method for manufacturing unsanded wood particle boards includes the stages of forming a woodchip-adhesive mat, cold pre-pressing, hot pressing, and panel sizing, wherein the woodchip-adhesive mat is formed using a press mass containing wood chips and a binder. The binder in the inner layer of the wood particle boards is distributed evenly in the amount of 9.5% wt. bone dry woodchips as calculated for dry matter. The binder in the outer layers of the wood particle boards is distributed unevenly: one part thereof is mixed with woodchips in a mixer, the other part is applied to the surface of the outer layers of the wood particle boards, with the following amount of binder in the outer layers of the wood particle boards as calculated for dry matter, of the weight of bone dry woodchips: part of the binder applied to the surface of the outer layers 2.5 to 4.0%; part of the binder mixed with woodchips in a mixer 10.0 to 10.5%.

EFFECT: higher strength of unsanded wood particle boards.
