SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic cylinders and combustion cylinders. A cylinder system contains a mechanical cylinder including an inner space, into which liquid is introduced, a piston made with the possibility of reciprocating movement in the inner space, and an internal cylinder device including an insert rod functioning as the second piston, wherein the insert rod is alternately introduced into the inner space of the cylinder and extracted from in it in accordance with reciprocating movement of the piston, while parts of the insert rod and the piston may surround a combustion space.

EFFECT: invention provides optimization of pressure in a cylinder, reduction in emissions of unburnt liquids with simultaneous increase in output power.
