FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: management of internal combustion engine based on Isothermal compression (IsoC) is carried out by feeding isothermally compressed air into the engine immediately before the combustion stage in order to increase the efficiency of the engine operation, reduce emissions and considerably eliminate spontaneous ignition and design limitations related to it. Compressor with intermediate cooling for isothermal air compression, which is stored in a variety of compressed air storage system tanks before feeding it into the engine is used in IsoC engine. IsoC engine enables to selectively stop the combustion to improve fuel use efficiency, resulting in creation of hybrid engine which runs on compressed air and internal combustion engine based on thermal compression (IsoC).
EFFECT: increased specific power and economical efficiency.
