The composition for oral administration for increasing the content of glutathione in the treatment of cancer selected from liver cancer, rectal cancer, and colon cancer contains a combination of sulforaphane and an extract of milk thistle standardized to the content from 20 to 35 wt.% of silibinin. The composition for oral administration for increasing the content of glutathione in the treatment of cancer selected from liver cancer, rectal cancer, and colon cancer contains a combination of an extract or powder of broccoli standardized to the content from 10 to 20 wt.% of glucoraphanin and an extract of milk thistle standardized to the content from 20 to 35 wt.% of silibinin.

EFFECT: above-described compositions synergistically increase the content of glutathione in the treatment of cancer selected from liver cancer, rectal cancer, and colon cancer.
