FIELD: natural gas transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for maintenance and repair of main gas pipelines (MGP). Method for pumping gas from the disconnected section of the main gas pipeline is that the disconnected section of the main gas pipeline is connected to the operating section of the main gas pipeline and gas is pumped into the operating section of the main gas pipeline. The disconnected section of the main gas pipeline is connected to the operating section of the main gas pipeline through additional pipelines through the shutoff valves. An additional looping pipeline is mounted stationary, connected by taps to an external receiving pipeline through the connection points of the multiline system of main gas pipelines with the operating section of the main gas pipeline. A compressor unit connected to the connection point of a stationary additional looping pipeline is delivered to an equipped site by a hard-surfaced driveway, through this pipeline gas is pumped out of any disconnected section of the main gas pipeline into the operating section of the main gas pipeline or into an external receiving pipeline.
EFFECT: simplifying the implementation and increasing the speed of execution, efficiency, reliability of the method for pumping natural gas from the disconnected section of the gas pipeline.
