SUBSTANCE: invention relates to energy. A gas turbine plant containing a compressor, a regenerative heat exchanger, a combustion chamber and a turbine connected along the working fluid of the Brayton cycle is equipped with an air cooling unit, the compressor housing is made double-walled with a cavity between them, while the outlet of the air cooling unit is connected to the inlet to the cavity, the inlet of the cooling unit air is connected to the outlet from the cavity, forming an air cooling circuit, and the entrance to the cavity is located on the side of the compressor outlet. Compressor stator guide vanes are provided with channels connected to housing cavity. The air cooling circuit contains a refrigerant such as freon.
EFFECT: invention improves the efficiency of a gas turbine plant due to isothermal air compression.
