SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and electric power engineering and can be applied to thermal power plants with the Rankine steam-turbine cycle (for example, condensing power plants – CPP), with the Brighton gas turbine cycle (for example, power plants with gas turbine units – GTU, steam and gas power stations – PTU) using gas fuel, for example, traditional natural gas. Power supply system for auxiliary needs of a heat power plant using gas fuel contains a contour of the working fluid with a block for heating the working fluid, on the first input connected to the gas supply system, at the second input – to the air supply system, and on the output connected to the turbine with electric generators on the shaft, the outputs of the stator windings of which are connected to the power system and through the transformer to the auxiliary buses of the heat-power plant are equipped with a block of fuel cells, an air intake and an inverter, the first input of the fuel cell assembly is connected to said gas supply system of the power plant, the second input to the air intake, and the electric output through the inverter is connected to the auxiliary buses.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency (in increasing the overall efficiency of the power plant) and in the output of the power plant (in increasing the supply of electricity to the energy system by the amount of consumption of own needs).
