SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a head supporting device intended for a seat, for example a seat of a wheelchair. The head supporting device assembly is a modular system, which can be made as an additional device assembly for installation on the wheelchair, or with which the wheelchair can be preliminary equipped. At the same time, the device has right and left supporting racks, a supporting main part, right and left attachment elements adapted for articulation with right and left supporting racks. In addition, the device contains an adjustment mechanism adapted for selective adjustment of a position of right and left attachment elements relatively to each other from a retracted position towards a folded position.

EFFECT: provision of a modular head supporting device capable of being adjusted for attachment to correspond to a distance between side frame parts of a seat.
