FIELD: cross-country tracked vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cross-country tracked vehicles. Chassis of a four-track vehicle comprises a body on which four track modules are mounted, each of which is located on a frame. On the frame of the caterpillar module, made in the form of a single beam, there is a motor-sprocket and two blocks of paired road wheels. Another block of paired rollers is fixed at the end of the frame by means of a track tensioning mechanism, and all blocks of road wheels are located in one straight line, forming a long supporting branch of the mover with the track bypass section. The extreme block of road wheels, located on the frame, when the frame is rotated, forms a short support branch of the propulsion unit with the sprocket motor.
EFFECT: improved profile and support patency; design flexibility and reliability.
