FIELD: cooling equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for prevention of critical operational conditions of a cooling agent compressor for cooling installations, containing a compressor unit actuated using a drive unit. At least one of these units is equipped with a control unit, which is controllable via a device for control of volumetric supply for control of the cooling agent compressor with different volumetric supplies. Moreover, an external set value of volumetric supply is transmitted to the device for control of volumetric supply. It is proposed that the device for control of volumetric supply, by means of a sensor, records a reference temperature of the cooling agent compressor. The device for control of volumetric supply, based on the recorded reference temperature of the compressor and on volumetric supply, determines a group of values of an operational condition for recording of an operational state of the cooling agent compressor. Taking into account set reference values for detection of operational states uncritical and critical for the cooling agent compressor, when a value of the determined group of values of an operational state, based on the reference temperature of the compressor, allows for the presence of a critical operational state of the cooling agent compressor, the control device sets volumetric supply, which leads to operation of the cooling agent compressor beyond limits of critical operational conditions.
