FIELD: images encoding and decoding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment and methods for encoding/decoding an image. The effect is achieved by generating reconstructed samples based on predictive samples and residual samples, wherein the reconstructed samples include reconstructed luminance samples and reconstructed chrominance samples, then extracting adaptive loop filter (ALF) coefficients for the reconstructed chrominance sample ALF process, generating filtered reconstructed chrominance samples based on the reconstructed chrominance samples and ALF filter coefficients, extracting cross-component filter coefficients for cross-component filtering. At the same time, the image information includes a sequence parameter set (SPS) and slice header information, which includes an ALF activation flag, based on the value of which the cross-component adaptive contour filtering (CCALF) procedure for the filtered reconstructed chrominance samples is activated.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of image/video encoding.
