FIELD: image encoding.
SUBSTANCE: in-loop filtering procedure in the image/video encoding procedure may contain a cross-component adaptive loop filtering procedure CCALF to improve the accuracy of in-loop filtering. Here, information regarding whether or not CCALF is available may be signalled to the SPS, and information regarding the values of the cross-component filter coefficients may be extracted from ALF data (normal ALF data or CCALF data), wherein the APS identification information including itself ALF data for extracting the coefficients of the cross-component filter in the slice, can be transmitted in service signals.
EFFECT: increased image/video encoding efficiency.
