SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a node for sealing and fixation on a wellbore wall as an insulating barrier, as well as to a method for the manufacture of the specified node for use as an insulating barrier. The specified node contains: a tubular body intended for being lowered into a well on a working column and being placed inside a cylindrical structure of a larger diameter; a coupling element located outside the tubular body for creation of a chamber between them. The tubular body contains a port allowing a fluid flow to enter the chamber for initiation of movement of the coupling element outwards and transformation opposite to an inner surface of the structure of a larger diameter. The tubular body consists of mandrel, the first tubular section for provision of connection to the working column at the first end of the specified node, and the second tubular section for provision of connection to the working column at the second end of the specified node. The coupling element consists of a coupling case containing a central annular section made of the first coupling material, the first annular end section, and the second annular end section made of the second coupling material. The central annular section is located between the first and the second annular end sections. The first tubular section is connected to the first annular end section of the coupling case by means of screw thread, the second tubular section is connected to the second annular end section of the coupling case by means of screw thread, and mandrel is made with the possibility of being retained between the first tubular section and the second tubular section for the formation of a tubular body, using seals located between mandrel and annular end sections and tubular sections. Material properties of the first coupling material differ from material properties of the second coupling material, as well as the first coupling material and the second coupling material are interconnected with the possibility of formation of a solid cylindrical case of the coupling before placement on the tubular body.
