FIELD: active material production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing an active material according to the "core-shell" scheme for the anode of a lithium-ion battery. Suspension of natural graphite in a spherical form in an aqueous solution of carbon-sodium polyacrylate precursor and sedimentation stabilizer - polyvinylpyrrolidone is fed into the spray drying system. The suspension mixing time until a homogeneous mixture is formed for feeding into the spray drying system is at least 30 minutes. The mass ratio of materials graphite/sodium polyacrylate/polyvinylpyrrolidone is 72.7:18.2:9.1 wt.%, respectively. Coating, a carbon non-graphitizing material precursor, on spherical uncoated graphite is carried out from the gas phase in a spray drying system at a temperature of 160±5°C, an aspirator power of 60%, a suspension flow rate of 10 ml/min, and atomized air flow rate of 660 l/h. Next, the carbonization process is carried out at a temperature of at least 800°C with holding at the final temperature for at least 30 minutes.
EFFECT: obtaining an active material for secondary power sources, which has high discharge capacity and is stable during cyclic resource changes, eliminating labor and energy costs, a multi-stage process, introducing a continuous production process.
