FIELD: transport decontamination.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for cleaning and disinfection of transport equipment. An escalator with a disinfection system contains a railing, a motion sensor and stations cleaning them on one and the other sides of the escalator. The initial station at the top of the escalator is a tank in which a roller is made, attached closely to the railing on the upper side and lowered into the disinfectant on the lower side. The next station at the bottom of the escalator is a housing with UV lamps on top and bottom. Drying seals made of rubber and lint are located at the inlet and outlet of the tank.
EFFECT: disinfection of the escalator railings is achieved.
