FIELD: railway automation; telemechanics.
SUBSTANCE: device for monitoring rail breakage in sections with AC electric traction contains two measuring transformers, two threshold elements, two rectifier elements, a comparison element, an adder, a voltage divider, and a logic element I. The device is additionally equipped with a differentiating device, a delay element and a block for fixing the rail breakage.
EFFECT: automatic control of the rail breakage is provided.
