SUBSTANCE: stated technical result is achieved by the terminal being capable of deciding whether the group of first antenna panels and the group of second antenna panels should be activated, and capable of automatically activating the group of first antenna panels and the group of second antenna panels, taking into account the information about the capabilities of the panel; wherein the group of first antenna panels comprises one or multiple first antenna panels, said first antenna panels being used for uplink transmission; wherein the group of second antenna panels comprises one or multiple second antenna panels, said second antenna panels being used for downlink reception.
EFFECT: reduced risk of a high transmission delay problem, resulting in higher efficiency of uplink and/or downlink transmission, an increase in the total indicator of the effective use of the antenna panel in the terminal and an increase in the load levelling degree of the antenna panel.
