SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology, in particular to methods for manufacturing laser devices, and can be used for the production of laser scalpels used in surgery or therapy, the principle of operation of which is based on thermal exposure. The claimed method for manufacturing a laser fiber scalpel with a temperature stabilized thermo-optical tip includes applying an optically absorbing material to the distal end of the fiber light guide, annealing the tip by briefly heating it to a temperature below the ablation temperature of the absorbing material, maintaining a predetermined temperature level of the tip during operation of the laser fiber scalpel. Moreover, after annealing, the tip is heated to the ablation temperature of the material, stabilization of heat release on the layer of absorbing material is achieved by maintaining the process of ablation of this material, thereby maintaining the specified temperature level of the tip at the level of the ablation temperature during operation of the laser fiber scalpel.

EFFECT: development of a method for manufacturing a laser fiber scalpel that provides a stable temperature of the thermo-optical tip during operation without the use of additional temperature control and regulation systems.
