FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heat exchange unit with at least one multi-pass heat exchanger containing a first collector (1) with a first connecting branch pipe (1a) for connecting to the fluid line (9); a second collector (2) with a second connecting branch pipe (2a) for connecting to the fluid line (9); and at least at least one first return collector (4), as well as multiple pipes (5) designed to ensure the passage of a fluid, in particular, water, wherein the first collector (1) and the second collector (2) are located at the same end (A) of the heat exchange unit; the return collector (4) is located at the opposite end (B) thereof, and the pipes (5) extend from one end (A) to the opposite end (B), wherein the first connecting branch pipe (1a) located at or at least near the lowermost point (T) of the first collector (1), and at the second connecting branch pipe (2a) is located at or at least near the lowermost point (T) of the second collector (2). In order to ensure that the heat exchange unit can be quickly filled with fluid and emptied, a third connecting branch pipe (3) is located on the first collector (1) and/or on the second collector (2) at or at least near the uppermost point (H) of the corresponding collector (1 or 2), and at least one vent (10) is located at or at least near the uppermost point (T) of the return manifold (4) for equalising the pressure with the environment.
EFFECT: higher cooling capacity with a maximum possible efficiency.
