FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment; it can be used for limb prosthetics. A method for the manufacture of an individual sleeve for a prosthesis includes following stages: provision of a mold of an end of a limb of a person, for which the specified prosthesis will be installed, and provision of a billet, which is made of elastomeric material. The billet contains an open proximal end and a closed distal end. The billet is installed on the mold. On the billet, at least one element is placed, which consists of a polymer reinforcing element, a tissue layer for prevention of stretching, a distal cup, and a casing for air discharge. Vacuum coating is placed around the billet by creation of vacuum and pumping of polymer cross-linked at a room temperature. Formed vacuum coating has a uniform thickness on the billet and each element placed on the specified billet.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of fast and cheap manufacture of a quality sleeve specific for a person wearing a prosthesis.
