FIELD: radars.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar. The effect is achieved through the use of the properties of radio signals transmitted from the radar system of the radio sounding of the atmosphere to the ARS (aerological radiosonde), the modes of operation of autodyne transceivers and methods for increasing the noise immunity of radio systems when using oscillations with periodic intra-pulse frequency modulation as a carrier of an interrogation radio pulse, the use of this modulation as subcarrier for transmission of the request code, in the transfer of the microwave generator from the mode of an asynchronous autodyne frequency converter to the mode of a synchronous detector (converter) of frequency modulation and the application of methods for encoding and decoding the request signal.
EFFECT: expanding the operating range of distances of the atmospheric radio sounding system; narrowing of the operating frequency band; expanding the dynamic range by the level of the request signal; increasing the noise immunity of the transceiver to the effects of active interference; preventing unauthorized access to weather data.
