FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for the differential diagnosis of inflammation and squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue mucosa by the content of biomarkers in the patient's oral fluid. The oral fluid of the patient is taken. The enzyme immunoassay method is applied on a plate based on monoclonal antibodies, followed by analysis of the research results. As biomarkers, matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP 2) and matrix metalloproteinase 8 (MMP 8) are chosen, their quantitative content in the patient's oral fluid is determined. The level of 2.32-3.38 ng/ml is taken as the quantitative content of the biomarker in the oral fluid of MMPs of the 2nd clinical control group, and the level of 61.86-91.40 ng/ml is taken as the level of MMPs of the 8th clinical control group. When determining the content of MMP 2 in the amount of 115.52-185.86 ng/ml and MMP 8 in the amount of 5.53-7.07 ng/ml, inflammation of the mucous membrane of the tongue is diagnosed. When determining the content of MMP 2 in the amount of 8.89-19.75 ng/ml and MMP 8 in the amount of 1441.07-1848.89 ng/ml, squamous cell carcinoma of the mucous membrane of the tongue is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides increased sensitivity and accuracy of differential diagnosis of inflammation and squamous cell carcinoma of the mucous membrane of the tongue, achievement of a high probability of detecting the process of inflammation and squamous cell carcinoma of the mucous membrane of the tongue in the patient's body both in the early stages of the disease and in later stages, significantly simplifying the preparation of the patient for certain temporary framework for the collection and storage of diagnostic material, the absence of infection "through the blood" during the collection of diagnostic material, as well as the possibility of taking diagnostic material from people with poor venous filling by determining the amount of MMP 2 and MMP 8 in the patient's oral fluid.
