FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine. A method for treating diseases of bacterial etiology in animals is characterized by the fact that the animals are given a drug containing in mg/ml: amoxicillin trihydrate - 140.0-160.0, succinic acid - 1.5-2.5, butylhydroxytoluene - 0.5-1.5, tween-80 - 5.0-15.0 and propylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate - up to 1 ml, while the drug is administered to animals intramuscularly or subcutaneously at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of live weight once or twice with an interval of 48 hours.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively treat a wide range of diseases of bacterial etiology in animals, and the drug used in this method has a pronounced antimicrobial effect on most gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including antibiotic-resistant strains capable of forming protective biofilms, does not have allergenic properties, and has a stimulating effect on humoral immune response and storage stability.
