FIELD: hydraulic structures.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydraulic structures, and in particular to the construction of hydraulic facilities with earth dams having adjustable outlets. The effect is achieved by the fact that the method for erecting an earth dam of a hydroelectric complex with a concrete spillway includes the simultaneous layer-by-layer formation of drainage and dam slopes on both sides of the concrete spillway by filling coarse-grained material and subsequent backfilling of the dam body from fine-grained soil material with compaction of each layer until the design height of the dam is reached, at the same time, compaction is carried out by flooding the layers when the spillways of the concrete spillway are blocked by raising the water level to the height of the backfilled layer, and after saturation of the backfilled layer with water, the following layers are backfilled and flooded.
EFFECT: increasing the density of laying the soil of dams and thereby increasing their resistance to destruction.
