FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to the production of sealing bedding coatings. Abradable sealing coating for a compressor of a gas turbine engine, obtained by a method for plasma spraying of a powder mixture, contains powder of nickel and nickel-plated graphite. Coating contains from 78 to 88 wt.% of nickel particles and from 12 to 22 wt.% of granular graphite particles, the ratio of length to thickness of which is in the range from 4:1 to 1:1, wherein nickel-plated graphite powder for obtainment of coating has a size of 30-200 mcm.
EFFECT: increase in strength and erosion (gas-abrasive) resistance of coating, while saving its abrasiveness, as well as possibility of application of coating with a thickness of up to 5 mm.
