FIELD: processing of waste.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to equipment for processing sorted and unsorted solid household waste for producing power. System for thermal decomposition of solid waste comprises multiple sections of a cylindrical container, intended to contain solid waste; an annular connecting structure by at least one end of each of said multiple sections of a cylindrical container; an autoclave for retaining one or more from the multiple sections of a cylindrical container; and an autoclave outlet for discharging the gases formed during thermal decomposition of solid waste.

EFFECT: better quality of the resulting synthesis gas and a reduced total volume of waste.
