FIELD: processing and recycling of wastes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recycling of used car tires and wastes of rubber articles. Disclosed is a method wherein tires undergo thermal treatment with an oil product in an extractor. Car tires are loaded into the extractor in the form of an autoclave, filled with the prepared oil product in the form of bitumen dissolved in solvent containing 60–80% of cyclic hydrocarbons, at 60 °C. Further, the temperature is increased to 140–180 °C at a pressure of up to 3 atm and exposure to ultrasound with frequency of 20–60 kHz. Oil product is used in amount of 35–45 wt.% and solvent in amount of 65–55 wt.%.
EFFECT: increasing energy and economic efficiency, productivity and quality of the obtained product.
