SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in metallurgy and chemical industry. Device for autogenous charcoal production includes mechanism 1 for feeding heated organic material, reaction vessel 2 and opening 13 for unloading charcoal. Reaction vessel 2 comprises reaction zone 22, cooling zone 23, tuyere 12, outlet openings 9 of reaction zone 22 made in its peripheral part. Outlet openings 9 of reaction zone 22 are arranged perpendicular to inlet openings 18 of reaction zone 22. Dry organic material is added to first end of reaction vessel 2, passed along flow path through reaction vessel and removed through outlet opening at second end of reaction vessel 2. Organic material is heated in heating zone 21 of reaction vessel 2 as it passes through reaction vessel 2 into reaction zone 22. Organic material is held in reaction zone 22 for autogenous decomposition of organic material into charcoal and pyroligneous gases. Charcoal is cooled in cooling zone 23 prior to discharge. Pyroligneous gases are removed via outlet opening 9 of reaction zone 22 so that gases move essentially perpendicular through material in reaction zone towards outlet opening 9 of reaction zone 22.
EFFECT: invention enables to improve energy efficiency of process, increase productivity of reactor, higher yield of charcoal, higher quality of liquid products and faster cooling of charcoal, higher controllability of process.
