SUBSTANCE: device relates to personal hygiene products, in particular to toothbrushes intended for oral care. Toothbrush with variable bristle stiffness contains a handle, head, neck, bristle tufts. The head is provided with vertically arranged bristle bundles and has a through hole, side grooves and a reinforcing pad made in the form of a plate, provided with cone-shaped protrusions made on the surface of the reinforcing pad, which faces towards the free ends of the bristles, in which holes for bristle bundles are made. On the reinforcing lining, a ring and spikes are mounted, made on the surface of the reinforcing lining, which is turned towards the fixed ends of the bristle bundles. A rounded thickening of the adjusting screw is inserted into the ring, located in the through hole of the head, and the spikes are inserted into the side grooves of the head. The reinforcing pad and the spikes of the reinforcing pad are movable along the vertically arranged bristle bundles.

EFFECT: invention provides the ability to adjust the required stiffness of the bristles and change it if necessary.
