FIELD: rolling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the rolling of a strip of a billet of a full-profile core of a metal composite lining of a glue-bolted insulating joint. Rolling of the billet profile begins in box grooves in 7 passes with tilting after passes 2, 4, 5 and 6. The billet profile is tilted and rolled further in the roughing mill of the 3-high mill, which is the roughing I mill of the “trio”, in box grooves in 3 passes of rolls. The profile of the workpiece is rolled in the pre-cleaning II mill of the “trio” in sectional grooves in 3 rolling passes. The final design of the profile is provided in the finishing III mill of the “duo” in a sectional groove in one rolling pass.
EFFECT: as a result, metal consumption decreases and hourly productivity increases.
