SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geophysics. Proposed is a method for seismic survey on reflected waves (CDP-2D) with the possibility of detecting and suppressing multiple interference waves formed at horizontal (sub-horizontal) geological interfaces. The substance of the proposed method consists in selecting or specially designing profiles with average ground elevation angles φ0 above 5 degrees at the seismic survey site. The CDP findings obtained on a slope are processed with tilted datum corresponding to the slope of the relief, wherein the static and kinematic corrections are calculated from the tilted datum. The tilt angles of the datum are compared on the time or depth CDP sections obtained thereby with the tilt angles of the reflecting horizons. The single and multiple reflected waves are detected and divided by multiplicity, analysing the tilt angles φ of the patterns of waves connected to the tilt angle of the datum by the following formula: φ=nφ0, wherein φ0 is the tilt angle of the datum, while n=1 for single waves and n=2, 3, … for multiple waves. The time (depth) sections on profiles with tilted datum are then correlated with sections of the totality of profiles of the work site, waves of different multiplicities being isolated. In the subsequent standard processing of these CDP findings, the isolated multiple interference waves are suppressed by known methods (subtraction, deconvolution or other) or excluded from further structural mappings.
EFFECT: detection and suppression of multiple interference waves from sub-horizontal interfaces, excluded false horizons, higher accuracy and informative value of CDP-2D seismic survey.
