FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used to produce migrated seismic images of geologic media from 2D seismic survey data in the form of an amplitude depth or time section for geological prospecting. Essence of the proposed method consists in the fact that each amplitude of seismic traces of all seismograms of common points of excitation (OTP) on the basis of knowledge of effective velocities and inclination angles of reflecting boundaries are carried in section into points of their origin, and then to the nearest centre of cells (bin) previously formed in a vertical plane passing through the observation profile, networks of selected dimensions along the vertical and horizontal. After transformation of all traces obtained for other positions of excitation and reception points on the profile, accumulation of all amplitudes is performed in bin centres. This makes it possible to obtain total amplitudes A(x,z) in the nodes of the created network, which characterize actual reflecting capacity of the medium. Accumulated amplitudes make it possible to form a seismic image of the geologic environment in a form familiar to seismic prospecting.
EFFECT: technical result is high information value of obtained data by obtaining real migrated seismic images of medium.
