SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elevator equipment. Elevator speed limiter rope tensioner comprises a rotating block located in the prefabricated base and a system for breaking the elevator safety electrical circuit in emergency situations installed on the prefabricated base. The rotating block is installed in a movable frame by means of an axis. The opposite ends of the axis are placed in the vertical grooves of the prefabricated base. The movable frame is placed inside the prefabricated base and is spring-loaded relative to it by means of a spring. The spring is placed on an adjustable guide pin. The prefabricated base is made with the possibility of mounting on the elevator guide.

EFFECT: possibility of fastening to the elevator guide is achieved, which eliminates the need to drill holes in the floor of the shaft and install anchor bolts, as well as reducing the metal consumption and weight of the structure.
