FIELD: air-cooled heat exchangers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air-cooled heat exchangers, in particular to cooling towers, and can be used in the field of heat engineering and power engineering. The hybrid-type radiator cooling tower contains a housing located on support legs, inside which there is a V-shaped cascade, consisting of volumetric evaporative panels and an irrigation system, a fan, upper and lower collectors, and radiator pipes are installed on the outer surface of the housing. The irrigation system contains holes made in the side wall of the upper manifold facing the evaporative panels, the holes directing water in such a way that the cooled water enters the outer surface of the radiator pipes, while the upper level of the volumetric evaporative panels acts as a drop eliminator.
EFFECT: increasing the productivity of the apparatus, increasing the intensity of liquid cooling.
