FIELD: heat exchangers.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for cooling of recycled water and can be used in power engineering, chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical and food industries. Hybrid cooling tower includes a housing, a liquid supply manifold with a cooling liquid main flow supply union and a cooling liquid supply union, liquid collection tank, a fan, a sprinkler located inside the housing and consisting of corrugated plates welded to each other along the end surfaces, located at an angle to the base of the housing and installed symmetrically relative to each other along the entire height of the sprinkler, wherein the corrugations are made in the form of a rounded profile with round-shaped holes located on the corrugations projections, radiator located inside the housing along the entire height of the sprinkler in the form of a tubular coil, the end surfaces of which are located perpendicular to the inclined corrugated plates of the sprinkler, and a pump for supply of cooling liquid. Cooling tower is additionally equipped with a sprayer for irrigation of the external surface of the radiator, installed in the upper part after the cooling liquid supply union, and louvers for control of atmospheric air supply to the cooling tower, located in the lower part of the cooling tower above the liquid collection tank, and the radiator has metal annular ribs, the outer diameter of which is 1.05–1.5 of the outer diameter of the radiator.
EFFECT: increased thermal power of the plant.
